BitaBIZ supports 4 methods for registering working hours.
The method an employee group must use is selected on the policy:

Employee must register start and end time

βΉοΈ Approval requirements for time registrations can be switched on or off.
βΉοΈ You might need to remove access to job codes if the purpose only is daily work hour registration.
βΉοΈ If the purpose is daily work hour registration. We recommend activating reminder if a work day is missing a time entry.
π When the registration method and approver flow have been clarified - the desired method for your time registration is saved on the policy. And it is then valid for the employees linked to the policy.
Employee must edit today's work hours if deviation
If this method is selected, employees does not have to create their daily work hours.
They only have to edit the official work hours if there is a deviation.
If there is no deviation, the employee does not have to do anything!

βΉοΈ The registration method requires connecting the Official work hour method with start and end time. Because it is the official work hours with start and end time that is automatically created every day at 9 AM.

βΉοΈ Days with absence (vacation, sick days, public holidays, etc.) are not booked with working hours.
π If an employee before 9 am on a working day book a sick day or sick period. Then no working hours are created that day. It is described in the user guide. Click here
Access to time registration
Access to time registration is given via the employees' master data card:

Notifications
Push notification: Reminder
If an employee forgets to register their hours, a friendly reminder is sent the following day.
π A notification is only sent if the previous day is a working day and is not booked with any absence.

βΉοΈ This reminder requires official work hours created. Because a day without standard hours created is a day off and no reminder is sent.

Live feed: Remember to check out today
When the employee has checked in, a counter is automatically created on the front of the mobile screen that counts the number of hours checked in and with a direct link to check out.

SMS message: Approve hours
Follow-up on the approver if time entries are not approved at a selected date.

EU notifications
Push notification: the EU's 48-hour rule
π Automatic message follow-up to the approver and employee if the average hours registered per week exceeds a selected number of hours in a 4-month period.

Push notification: EU rest time rule
π If the rest period of at least 11 hours is not observed, a notification can be send.

Job codes and breaks
Should time be registered on job codes?
π The last selected job code is remembered for the next time. If there are many job codes, there is a search function. |

Own paid breaks are deducted from the registered working hours.
π Breaks can be targeted at different employee groups. |
