4. Sick leave

Sick leave can be registered as a day entry or as a period. Registration in hours can be enabled if standard hours are configured.

In Switzerland, self-certified sick leave and medical certificates can be handled according to the companyโ€™s practice.

โš ๏ธ Weekends and public holidays are not counted as sick days.

5. Working hours and Time tracking

When Switzerland is selected, no time tracking method is activated automatically. The administrator must manually choose between:

  • Time tracking without hour bank

  • Time tracking with hour bank

โš ๏ธ The choice depends on whether working hours are accrued as a balance or only documented.

Important

  • The standard setup is based on common practice in Switzerland.

  • Companies with collective agreements or special arrangements must adjust the policies manually.
