Intro to the Report Library in BitaBIZ
Get an overview of reports, statistics, and exports in BitaBIZ, and find the right report for vacation, leave, time registration, payroll hours, project hours, hour bank, mileage, HR key figures, and employee data.
Quick answer about the Report Library
The Report Library gathers your company’s reports and key figures in one place in BitaBIZ.
Use the Report Library when you need to follow up on registrations, balances, hours, leave, vacation, projects, job codes, or HR data across employees, departments, companies, countries, and periods.
The Report Library is used for analysis, follow-up, and export to Excel. It is not used for payroll processing itself. If approved registrations need to be exported to the payroll system and marked as processed, you should use Payroll Export.
This article is for
Administrators, HR, payroll managers, and other users who work with reports, statistics, registration data, and exports in BitaBIZ.

You also need access to the Report Library. The Report Library requires the HR Statistics role and must be activated as an add-on to your company’s subscription plan.
What does the Report Library consist of?
The Report Library contains reports based on your company’s registrations, policies, employee profiles, approval flows, and selected periods.
Report data can therefore depend on:
the employee’s policy

Always check the period, filters, registration status, policy, and registration type when analyzing or exporting report data.

Absent | Vacation | Vacation day |

Select period
When you generate a report, you need to select the period the report should cover.
Here's how:
Choose how the period should be filtered: year, quarter, month, or from/to date.
Select the desired period.
Click Apply and show report.
Use any filters to narrow down the report.
Export to Excel if you need to work further with the data.
You can generate reports for a maximum of one year at a time. If you need data for a longer period, you must generate multiple reports and combine them afterwards.
Important to know
The report library displays data based on your company's registrations and setup.
If a report does not show the expected data, it is often due to:
incorrect period selected
active filters
incorrect registration type
missing or changed approval status
the employee using a different time registration solution
the data being in a different report than expected
the employee having changed policy or department
The report library is not used to mark registrations as payroll processed. Use Payroll export when registrations need to be exported to the payroll system and included in payroll processing.
FAQ
Do you have a report that pulls all leave?
Do you have a report that pulls all leave?
No. Each leave type has its own report. This is partly because there may be special logic attached to a leave type report. Vacation has a balance per selected month. Sick leave has a sick leave percentage.
In BitaBIZ, leave types are distributed across these reports:
Supplementary balance (e.g. other vacation, OK days)
Sick leave (Sick days and child sick)
Other leave (Types of leave of absence)
Time registration with hour bank -> Time off
There may also be leave types under the Planning report (Custom registration types)
Custom registration types with status absent are typically:
Fixed day off
Private appointment

When should I use the Time Registration report with or without hour bank?
Use the time registration reports when you need an overview, analysis, or export of work hours for multiple employees, a department, or a specific period.
If you need to check one specific employee’s calendar, registrations, or balance, you should generally use the employee’s calendar in Payroll Admin.
When choosing a report, first check whether the employee group uses time registration with or without hour bank.
Need | Use this report | Typically used for |
Overview of registered hours without hour bank | HR Statistics → Report Library → Time Registration - Without hour bank | Payroll hours, project hours, job code hours, weekly work hours, and EU 48-hour rule |
Overview of time registration with hour bank | HR Statistics → Report Library → Time Registration - With hour bank | Flex time, overtime, time off, plus/minus hours, hour bank balance, hour bank transactions, and 48-hour rule |
Use Time Registration - Without hour bank when the employee group does not use an hour bank and you need to export or analyze registered hours.
Use Time Registration - With hour bank when the employee group uses an hour bank and you need to see work hours, flex time, plus/minus hours, overtime, time off, or the hour bank’s balance and transactions.
Do not select a report before you have clarified whether employees use time registration with or without hour bank. If you look in the wrong report, you will not be able to find the employees’ hours.
Example
If you need an overview of total hours for a department over a period, you should use the Report Library.
If the department uses an hour bank, select:
HR Statistics → Report Library → Time Registration - With hour bank
If the department does not use an hour bank, select:
HR Statistics → Report Library → Time Registration - Without hour bank
If, on the other hand, you need to check one specific employee’s registrations or balance, open the employee’s calendar in Payroll Admin.
