If your employees are changing email addresses to a new domain name and you have connected Single Sign-On and Provisioning in BitaBIZ, then you need to do the following depending on one of the scenarios below.
Scenario 1.
Employees’ email addresses are updated on the users’ already existing profiles/objects in our Azure Active Directory tenant.
In this scenario, the employee’s email will automatically be updated in BitaBIZ via provisioning.
Do the following:
Update employees’ UPN and email addresses in your Azure AD.
Restart provisioning via the BitaBIZ enterprise application in your Azure AD.
Open Azure Active Directory > click Enterprise applications > select the BitaBIZ enterprise application > click Provisioning > click Restart provisioning:
💁 This will update employees’ email addresses in BitaBIZ, and employees can henceforth log into BitaBIZ with Single Sign-On using their new email address.
Scenario 2.
Employees receive completely new profiles/objects in our Azure Active Directory tenant.
In this scenario, employees’ email addresses must first be updated manually in BitaBIZ.
Do the following:
Deactivate the Single Sign-On integration in BitaBIZ.
Click Setup admin > Integrations > deactivate Single Sign-On under the section “Microsoft Azure AD SSO”:
Update employees’ email addresses in BitaBIZ.
Click Setup admin > click Edit next to the employee’s profile > update the email address > click Save employee:
Reactivate the Single Sign-On integration in BitaBIZ.
Click Setup admin > Integrations > activate Single Sign-On under the section “Microsoft Azure AD SSO”
Create the users’ new profiles in your Azure AD.
Restart provisioning via the BitaBIZ enterprise application in your Azure AD.
Open Azure Active Directory > click Enterprise applications > select the BitaBIZ enterprise application > click Provisioning > click Restart provisioning:
💁 This will resynchronize the employees with BitaBIZ using their new email addresses, and employees can henceforth log into BitaBIZ with Single Sign-On using their new email address.
Scenario 3.
Employees are created with new profiles on a new Azure Active Directory tenant.
In this scenario, a new integration for Single Sign-On and Provisioning must be created for BitaBIZ on the new Microsoft tenant.
Do the following:
Deactivate provisioning on the old Microsoft Tenant:
Open Azure Active Directory > click Enterprise applications > select the BitaBIZ enterprise application > click Provisioning > click Stop provisioning:
Deactivate the Single Sign-On integration in BitaBIZ.
