Create report

All time registrations created in BitaBIZ can be exported to Excel from this page.

This function is a general data export and is not suitable for reporting on, for example, hour bank, vacation, or absence.
For these purposes, use the Report Library.

About this report

This page is used to create your own custom report with the registration types you want.

You can select a maximum period of 12 months. There is a 12-month limit to prevent exporting too much data at once, as the page can export all registrations created on your account.

How to use the report

  1. Select period (max 12 months)

  2. Add time registration types to the report:
    - work hours
    - sick days
    - vacation & other vacation
    - overtime
    - mileage
    - time registration (payroll hours, project hours, EU time)
    - Custom types (working from home, business trip, personal paid day off, etc.)

  3. Click Show result and then click the Excel button to create the report in your Excel.

Notes about this report

  • Important: The Create report page should not be used for your payroll export. If you need to export to your payroll system, use the page "Payroll export with period control".

  • Only approved registrations are included in the report.

  • Notes/free text added to a registration are shown in the report, except for sick leave. Notes added to sick leave are not saved in the BitaBIZ database, but are included in the email/SMS notifications sent to the manager/approver.

Export limitations

Export from Payroll Admin is used to extract registration data (e.g. date, type, and employee) to Excel or payroll.

The export does not include history of registrations, such as:

  • when a registration was created

  • who created or changed it

  • changes over time

If you need to analyze when registrations were created, do not use the export, but instead use the activity log.


FAQ

What employee information and data is included in the export?

The export includes the following information:

  • Name

  • Type (registration type)

  • From / To (date and time the registration applies to)

  • Payroll number

  • Department

  • Policy

  • Days / Hours / Km

  • Standard hours

  • Note

The report does not include other employee data and cannot be expanded with additional information.

The report does not include information about when the registration was created or approved.

If you need this, you should use the Activity log.

Do I need to export one report per absence type?

No, you can select multiple registration types in the same report and get them all together in one export with all the desired registration types.
