When I select a full time off day, 30 minutes less than the official work hours are deducted. Is that correct?
When I select a full time off day, 30 minutes less than the official work hours are deducted. Is that correct?
Yes, that can be correct.
If your workday is, for example, from 8:30 to 16:30, the official time frame is 8 hours. But if you have a 30-minute unpaid break, your standard hours for the workday are 7 hours and 30 minutes.
When you register regular work hours, the unpaid break is deducted from your work hours.
When you take a full day off, the unpaid break is not deducted from your hour bank. You should only be deducted for the work hours you would otherwise have worked.
Example:
Official work hours: 8:30-16:30 = 8 hours
Unpaid break: 30 minutes
Standard hours without break: 7 hours and 30 minutes
Time off deducted from hour bank: 7 hours and 30 minutes
Your balance box is shown in decimals. Therefore, 7 hours and 30 minutes is displayed as 7.50.
In short: 7.50 hours in the balance box means 7 hours and 30 minutes.
