Sick leave period
If you have the option to register a sick leave period in BitaBIZ, it is because your company has chosen the Sick leave period reporting method.
When this method is active, you can register sickness across multiple days in a single registration.
Option to select multiple dates
When the Sick leave period method is selected:
you can register sickness across multiple days
you can select a period in the future
you can register sickness retroactively
You can therefore choose both the from date and to date when creating the registration.
How to register a sick leave period
To create a sick leave period, do the following:
Create a registration and select Sick in the dropdown menu
Click Create a sick leave period
When you click “Create a sick leave period”, the date fields are unlocked and you can select a period both forward and backward in time.Select the from date and to date
Optionally add a note
Click Save
Your approver will automatically be notified by BitaBIZ via SMS or email when you report sick.
If you add a note, your approver will also receive this message together with your sick leave notification.
If you only register one day
If you do not select “Create a sick leave period”, you will only report one sick day on the current date.
