Remaining vacation - per selected month

The report calculates the remaining balance per selected month for one or more selected vacation years.

About this report

A vacation year is created for the report when a new period starts.

The vacation balance calculation consists of the following variables:

➡️ transferred remaining vacation from previous vacation year
⬅️ Manual decreases
➡️ Manual increases
⬅️ Manual payouts of remaining days
➡️ Accrual based on the earning rules linked to a policy
⬅️ Approved days created in the vacation year

= REMAINING BALANCE

ℹ️ used unpaid vacation days
These are not subtracted from the remaining balance because they are settled as leave at own expence rather than used vacation days.

ℹ️ Transferred advance vacation
The report does not support vacation plans that allow employees to transfer an advance balance to a new vacation year.

How to Use the Report

  1. Select the month for which you want a balance:
ℹ️ Accrual is always processed as beginning-of-month accrual in the report.
ℹ️ Used vacation days within a month are included at the end of the month.

  2. Select the vacation year for the balance calculation:
ℹ️ If you select a month with two overlapping vacation years, the balance for both vacation years is displayed by default. Therefore, choose the vacation year for which you want a balance.

  3. The balance for the selected month in the chosen vacation year is displayed:
