Extra balance is a flexible balance that can cover, for example, other vacation, 6th vacation week, care days, or other company-specific days off—depending on how it’s set up at your company.
This guide shows you how to request hours from your extra balance.
How to request hours
You can request extra balance in hours via the mobile app, Outlook app, or web portal.
1. Create a registration

Enter start and end date to book a period.
The green balance box shows:

3. Specify time period (for less than a full day)
Hours can only be selected if you are booking single days
