Sick leave – today’s date
If you can only register sickness for today’s date in BitaBIZ, it is because your company has selected the sick leave reporting method “Today only”.
When this method is active, sick leave can only be registered on the same day and not in the past or future.
When sick leave must be reported on the same day
If your company requires sick leave to be reported on the same day, the date fields will be locked to today’s date.
This means that:
you cannot register sickness retroactively
you cannot register sickness in the future
The date fields will therefore automatically be set to today’s date.
How to register sick leave
To create a sick leave registration, follow these steps:
Create a registration in BitaBIZ and select Sick in the dropdown menu.
The date is automatically locked to today’s date.
Optionally add a note if relevant.
Click Save.
Your approver will automatically be notified by BitaBIZ via SMS or email when you report sick.
If you add a note, your approver will also receive this message together with your sick leave notification.
If you forgot to register sick leave
If you did not register your sick day on the same day, your approver or payroll administrator can register the sick day for you afterward.
