What are tags in BitaBIZ?
Tags are extra details that can be added to an employee’s profile. Tags make it possible to group employees, register equipment, or highlight HR-related matters. This way, your company can get a more detailed overview of your employees—without having to create new fixed fields.
Tags have their own tab on all your employees’ profile cards.

Quick inspiration – what can you use tags for?
Planning & overview: Find employee groups in the Team calendar & People page (e.g., specialists who shouldn’t take vacation at the same time).
HR & resources: Mark who has certificates, equipment, or benefits like mobile phones, PCs, and credit cards.
Organization: Structure by office location, group company, or country – especially useful for larger organizations.

Location tags – usage and sharing
How location tags are shared
Office location is shared via the People page and Phonebook and is searchable in the Team calendar.
→ With this tag, you can display the vacation plan for an office location. A great feature if your company has multiple offices.
Country and group company are not shared. They are mainly used by organizations operating globally that need to set up local administration and restrict access to profile data by country or group company.

When should I create tags for an employee?
Tags can be added either when you create a new employee or later as needed. A tag works alongside the standard profile data an employee is created with. Tags therefore supplement an employee’s profile with additional information. For example, the employee’s office location, country, group company, certificates, etc.
Note: location-based tags, such as office location and country, can be created automatically via integration with your Active Directory.
