Invite External Partner for Support Access

Give payroll partners, IT providers, or BitaBIZ Support secure access to your account—free and without creating them as employees.

What is an external partner?

An external partner is a user who gets administrative access to your BitaBIZ account without being set up as an employee.

This feature is used when an external collaborator needs to help with:

  • Payroll export

  • Integrations

  • Setup

  • Support

Who can be an external partner?

You can grant access to, for example:

  • Payroll partner – handling payroll data and export to the payroll system

  • IT provider – setting up and maintaining integrations

  • BitaBIZ Support – faster and more efficient support

How to invite an external partner

Go to: Setup Admin → Employees → External admin

  1. Enter the partner's email address

  2. Click Invite

👉 The partner will receive an email with a link to create their user profile.

Once the invitation is accepted, it will appear on the list of external administrators invited to your account:

What permissions does an external partner get?

External administrators:

  • Do not appear as employees

  • Do not show up in employee lists, team calendar, or People page

  • Are free

They get access to:

  • Setup Admin role

  • Payroll Admin role

  • HR Statistics role

This access is for administrative purposes only.

Login for external partner

The external partner creates their name and password via the link in the invitation email.

FAQ

Can an employee who is already a user on our account also be invited to the external partner role?

Yes. But only if you have not enabled single sign-on (SSO) on your account. SSO login locks an email address to only one account and one user.

An SSO user also cannot be invited to other accounts as an external admin.

If a user set up with SSO needs external admin access to other accounts, you must use an email address that is not registered/locked with SSO to a user's profile. For example: [email protected]

How do I resend an invitation to an external partner who hasn't received our invitation?

Unfortunately, it is not possible to resend the invitation multiple times. To send an invitation again, you need to delete the user and create them again. The invitation is only sent once when an external partner is created.

Remember to ask the partner who hasn't received the invitation to check their "Junk email folder." The invitation may have ended up there.

Can an external partner have access to multiple BitaBIZ accounts?

Yes, an external partner gets access to a Dashboard with direct login to all the accounts they have been invited to.
