Recurring Registration

This guide explains how to create and manage recurring registrations that are automatically repeated over a period of time (e.g., regular shifts every week).

If you only want to create or edit a registration for a specific day, you should create it as a single registration. Read about it here.

Book a Fixed Recurring Registration

Here's how to create a fixed registration. For example, a fixed:

  • day off

  • work from home

  • shift

  1. Click Create registration

  2. Select Planning / Out of Office
    (the name may vary)

  3. Choose the desired Type:

    • Day off

    • Work from home

    • On-call shift

    • Other

  4. Enter the start and end date for the period
(Optionally, select start and end time if the registration is by the hour)

  5. Check Recurring registration

  6. Select the day(s) of the week the registration should apply to

  7. Click Save

👉 Your registration will now automatically be created on the selected days during the period.

Edit or Move a Registration

If you want to change a single day in a recurring series:

  1. Go to your calendar (mobile, Teams, or web portal)

  2. Click on the registration you want to change

  3. Select Delete single registration

  4. Create a new registration on the desired date

👉 You can't move a registration directly – it must be deleted and created again.

Edit an Entire Series

If you want to change your fixed registrations:

  1. Go to your calendar (mobile, Teams, or web portal)

  2. Click "Delete series"

  3. Select "Delete entire series"

  4. Create a new fixed registration

How Your Status Is Displayed

Your registrations are shown in the team calendar with a status:

  • Day off → Absent

  • Work from home → Working elsewhere

  • On-call shift → At work / on shift

FAQ

If I book vacation over a fixed day off, does the day off count as a vacation day taken?

No, the fixed day off does not count towards your vacation balance. However, the day off must be booked/created before the vacation is booked.

My calendar is booked with an on-call shift every Monday for the next 4 weeks. Can I register my actual work hours during a shift?

Yes, you can register your actual work hours. Your time registrations do not overwrite your shift. If your agreement with your employer is that you should register, for example, your payroll hours, you should follow their instructions.

The method you should use to register your actual shift hours depends on your company's chosen setup. If you're unsure, contact your company's payroll/HR department.
