Global message settings

To manage message settings, click: Setup Admin -> Notifications.

Email notifications for approvers and employees:

  • When an employee deletes or creates a registration, the approver is notified directly by email.

  • When an approver or payroll admin approves or rejects a registration, the employee is notified directly by email.

  • If an approver or payroll admin creates or deletes a registration, the employee is notified directly by email.


Direct email notifications can be globally enabled or disabled for all registrations:

If your employees regularly/daily register payroll hours that need approval, it is recommended to disable direct email notifications to employees when a time registration is approved.

Examples of global email notifications

Monthly email notification containing a list of registrations created in the selected period:

  • On a selected date, an email can be sent to all employees containing a list of all employee registrations created during the period.

  • The approver receives in the same email a list of registrations pending approval.

The monthly email can be enabled or disabled globally:

SMS notification to approver and employee for sick leave:

  • When an employee registers a sick day, the approver is notified directly by SMS

  • When an employee registers a sick day, the employee is notified directly that the sick leave has been received via SMS

Direct SMS notifications for sick leave can be globally enabled or disabled:

SMS notification to approver for unapproved time registrations:

  • If the approver has unapproved hours on a selected date, an SMS notification can be sent to the approver.

The SMS notification for unapproved time registrations can be globally enabled or disabled:
