1. Vacation (Statutory vacation)

2. Supplementary balances (Supplementary balance)

Supplementary balances are used for extra days off beyond the company's standard vacation policy.

3. Other leave โ€“ Standard US leave types

The 'Other leave' module is used for extended or special types of leave.

โš ๏ธ FMLA leave and parental leave usually do not affect the earning of company PTO, depending on policy. Unpaid leave may reduce earning depending on company rules.

4. Sick leave

Sick leave can be managed via a separate sick leave balance or as part of PTO, depending on company policy.

5. Work hours and time registration

When selecting USA, no time registration method is activated automatically.

The administrator must manually choose between:

  • Time registration without hour bank

  • Time registration with hour bank

Important

  • The standard setup is based on common practice in the USA.

  • Companies with collective agreements or special arrangements must adjust policies manually.
