Registration log, total per period, and balance for selected month

Day Bank in the Report Library

The day bank report provides an overview of employees’ earning, usage, and balances.

You can find the report under HR Statistics → Report Library → Day Bank.

What does the report include?

The report consists of 3 views, each offering a different overview.

1. Registration Log

This page shows all registrations and entries created for a selected period.

The log includes the following variables:

  • manual reductions

  • manual increases

  • manual payouts of days

  • earning according to the earning rules attached to a policy

  • approved minus days (days off)

  • approved plus days (earned)

Use the "Type" filter to select which variables to display:

2. Total per Period

This page calculates the total of registrations/entries per employee for a selected period.

This report is useful for getting an overview per employee of:

  • total plus days

  • total minus days

  • total earning

  • total manual entries

Remember to select which type of registrations you want to sum:

3. Balance per Selected Month

This page calculates, for a selected month (end-of-period):

  • Each employee’s day bank balance

  • The total day bank balance for your company

The day bank balance calculation includes the following variables:

  • manual reductions

  • manual increases

  • manual payouts of remaining days

  • earning according to the earning rules attached to a policy

  • approved minus days

  • approved plus days

= REMAINING BALANCE

Select the month for which you want a balance at end-of-period:

How to use the report

Select period

You can choose from several ways to select a period for your dataset:

  • year

  • quarters

  • month

  • days/weeks by selecting from/to

Filter data

All three views of the report can be filtered and customized so you only see the groups you want.

You can filter by the following:

  • Employee name

  • Employee status

  • Payroll number

  • Job title

  • Department

  • Policy

  • Company

  • Country

Export to Excel

Click export to continue working with the report in Excel.

When exporting to Excel, make sure to select the same decimal separator in the export as you have set up in Excel to avoid issues with number conversion.
