This integration requires that a Microsoft Exchange integration is set up with BitaBIZ. This means absence status in BitaBIZ is synchronized with the employee’s Outlook and Teams calendar.

When employees request vacation or register as sick, they can activate their Outlook out of office email auto-reply directly from BitaBIZ. This way, they don’t have to remember to turn their auto-reply on and off when absent. BitaBIZ does it automatically.

The integration offers the following benefits:

    When your employees can easily enable their out of office email auto-reply when registering vacation or absence, the chance of forgetting is reduced.
    As a result, auto-replies are shared more often with customers and external partners during vacation and absence periods.

When the BitaBIZ Exchange integration is enabled for your BitaBIZ account.

Your Outlook email auto-reply can then be activated from BitaBIZ. To allow your employees to activate their auto-reply from BitaBIZ, do the following:

Click: Setup Admin -> Integrations -> Microsoft integrations

  1. Create a standard email auto-reply for your organization

  2. Click "On"

  3. Click "Save Exchange"

✉️ With this service enabled, your employees can activate their Outlook email auto-reply for absences directly from BitaBIZ when they create vacation requests or register as sick:

  • This way, employees don’t have to remember to turn their auto-reply on and off when absent. BitaBIZ does it for them.

  • Employees can easily create and edit the auto-reply text that is linked to a vacation request, etc.
