Get your BitaBIZ data directly into Excel and Power BI – always up to date, no manual exports needed.

With this integration, you can easily connect BitaBIZ to your own reports and dashboards. Data is automatically delivered in a format that Excel and Power BI understand. This means:

  • No manual exports – reports update automatically.

  • More flexibility – build your own KPIs, graphs, and analyses.

  • Everything in one place – combine BitaBIZ data with data from other systems.

Get started

  1. Activate the module
    Go to: Setup admin → Company → Subscription plan → Activate the BitaBIZ API module.

  2. Copy your API key – it gives access to your data - so keep it safe!

  3. Follow the instructions in the main article to set up the integration in Excel or Power BI.

Example: How to insert the URL in Excel

Once you have your API URL ready, you can insert it directly into Excel:

  1. Click Data

  2. Select Get Data

  3. Select From Web

  4. Paste your URL including API key

In just a few seconds, your BitaBIZ data will be imported into Excel, and next time you can simply click Refresh All to get the latest data.

Example: How to insert the URL in Power BI

Adding your BitaBIZ data in Power BI is just as easy as in Excel:

  1. Click Get data

  2. Select Web

  3. Paste your URL including API key

  4. Click OK

  5. Select Load (or Transform data if you want to edit the columns)

💡 Once the data is set up, reports can be updated automatically in Power BI – both in desktop and via Power BI Service.

FAQ

Where can I find our API key?

Under Setup admin → Company → Subscription plan (activate the BitaBIZ API module). You need the Setup admin role to access the API key.

When I activate the BitaBIZ API module, we also get access to the Report Library. Why is that?

That's correct. Both the BitaBIZ API and the Report Library are activated when you enable the module. This means you get access to a range of pre-configured reports when the module is activated, along with access to our API.

👉 To access the Report Library, you need the HR Statistics role.

Can we use the Excel integration for payroll export?

The Excel API should not be used to export data to your payroll system. This is because the API does not keep track of which registrations have been processed for payroll and which have not.

Can I set up the integration to Excel without programming?

Yes. Data is delivered in CSV format, which both Excel and Power BI can read directly – no coding required.

This URL updates all your registrations in 2025 to Excel:
