Example: How to insert the URL in Excel
Once you have your API URL ready, you can insert it directly into Excel:
Click Data
Select Get Data
Select From Web
Paste your URL including API key
In just a few seconds, your BitaBIZ data will be imported into Excel, and next time you can simply click Refresh All to get the latest data.

Adding your BitaBIZ data in Power BI is just as easy as in Excel:
Click Get data
Select Web
Paste your URL including API key
Click OK
Select Load (or Transform data if you want to edit the columns)

Where can I find our API key?
Under Setup admin → Company → Subscription plan (activate the BitaBIZ API module). You need the Setup admin role to access the API key.
When I activate the BitaBIZ API module, we also get access to the Report Library. Why is that?
When I activate the BitaBIZ API module, we also get access to the Report Library. Why is that?
That's correct. Both the BitaBIZ API and the Report Library are activated when you enable the module. This means you get access to a range of pre-configured reports when the module is activated, along with access to our API.
👉 To access the Report Library, you need the HR Statistics role.
Can we use the Excel integration for payroll export?
Can we use the Excel integration for payroll export?
The Excel API should not be used to export data to your payroll system. This is because the API does not keep track of which registrations have been processed for payroll and which have not.

Yes. Data is delivered in CSV format, which both Excel and Power BI can read directly – no coding required.
