Dataløn
Set up integration between BitaBIZ and Dataløn via API.

First, follow this guide: Set up integration to your payroll system
This article only describes the specific requirements for Dataløn.
Setting up Dataløn consists of 3 steps:
1. Activate BitaBIZ in Dataløn
2. Set up Dataløn in BitaBIZ
3. Configure Dataløn payroll codes
👉 The integration is only complete when all 3 steps have been completed.
1. Activate BitaBIZ in Dataløn
Log in to Dataløn.
Click: Setup → Integration to other systems
Activate: BitaBIZ Dataløn integration
Copy:
API key
Employer number
You will need this information in BitaBIZ.
2. Set up Dataløn in BitaBIZ
Click: Setup Admin → Integrations → Payroll systems and Absence reporting
Select:
Country: Denmark
Dataløn
Save settings.
Click: Payroll Admin → Export → Payroll export with period management
Open the setup form and enter:
Employer number
API key
Default payroll period
Typically, period 51 (monthly salary) is used.
👏 The integration is now set up.
3. Dataløn payroll codes
Fill out the setup form with Dataløn codes.
Leave

Vacation | 0047 |
Sick leave | 0072 |
Child sick | 007C |
Own paid day off / Unpaid leave | 0062 |
Other vacation / Care days | 0077 |
Sick leave
Sick days are exported as hours based on the employee's standard hours.
Note that sick hours must be deducted in field 0001.
Child sick
We usually recommend code 007C for both fixed paid employees and hourly paid employees.

Payout of balances
Vacation, other vacation, care days, hour bank, and day bank can be paid out via BitaBIZ.
When paying out, a Dataløn code must be specified for settlement.

When paying out vacation, the vacation account must also be updated in Dataløn.
Synchronization of payroll texts
We recommend that the payroll texts in Dataløn match the labels in BitaBIZ.
Click in Dataløn:
Payroll → Edit payroll texts
Hourly paid employees
If employees register hours in BitaBIZ, Dataløn can automatically update field 0001.
Activate in Dataløn:
Company → Other information → Automatic counting of working hours
Multiple companies
BitaBIZ supports export to multiple Dataløn accounts from one BitaBIZ account.
For each company:
Policies must be separated per company
Dataløn employer number must be specified on the policy
API key must be registered with BitaBIZ
Guide:
Click Setup admin > Modules > Policies
Click "Edit" next to the policy.
Open the "Group settings" section
Tag the policy with the company name in the "Group company" field
(💁 When you create a company tag, it can then be selected on other policies from the drop-down list)Enter the Dataløn employer number in the "Company identification" field:
Save the policy
Then contact BitaBIZ, who will update your created company tag with the Dataløn API key from the company's associated Dataløn account.

Checklist:
Earning should be set to start-of-period. This means employees can plan vacation days that are earned in a month.
The max rule should be activated. This means employees can only plan vacation that has been earned.
Monthly earning that follows the Danish Holiday Act should be selected.
